À propos de l'événement

Mr. Lepage is an associate professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Sherbrooke. With a doctorate in clinical and experimental neuropsychology from the University of Montreal, he completed his postdoctoral training at the Stanford School of Medicine and at the Massachusetts General Hospital, studying the role of genetic and epigenetic factors on brain function. Prof. Lepage's research program focuses on the studies of rare genetic diseases with neurodevelopmental impact, including Fragile X syndrome, the main monogenic cause of autism spectrum disorder. His projects use different neurophysiological investigative tools, including transcranial magnetic stimulation, EEG and magnetic resonance spectroscopy, to establish the impact of these mutations on neurofunctional alterations. He holds a salary grant Researcher Boursier Junior II from the FRQS.
